The group BTS has achieved significant success on key weekly music charts both in their home country and internationally with their fifth studio album, 'Arirang'.
As reported by Hanteo Chart on the 30th, BTS's latest album 'Arirang' claimed the top position on the weekly world and album charts for the period from March 23rd to 29th. The album reached this peak in the third week of March, three days after its release on the 20th, and maintained its position for two consecutive weeks.

Billboard, an American music media outlet, released a preview article on the 30th, confirming that 'Arirang' has secured the top spot on the 'Billboard 200' main album chart, dated April 4. It debuted with 641,000 album units, representing the strongest weekly performance for a group album since unit tracking began in December 2014. Out of these, 532,000 were pure album sales, including both physical and digital formats, setting a new record for the highest weekly sales for a group album in over a decade.
BTS has also excelled on global music charts. They topped Spotify's weekly charts (tracking period: March 20-26) for 'Weekly Top Albums', 'Weekly Top Songs', and 'Weekly Top Artists' on a global scale. Notably, the title track 'SWIM' claimed the number one position on 'Weekly Top Songs Global', and all 14 tracks from the album ranked within the top 30.
The track 'SWIM' maintained its leading position on Spotify's 'Daily Top Songs Global' and Apple Music's 'Top 100 Global' for 9 and 7 days, respectively, covering the period from March 20th to 29th. Every song from the album appeared on the latest chart rankings of both platforms. Ten days post-release, the album's tracks continue to enjoy significant popularity, illustrating strong global fan support.
BTS is scheduled to perform the 'BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG'' at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, on April 9, 11, and 12. In October, they will perform in stadiums across South America, including Colombia, Peru, Argentina, Chile, and Brazil. All 46 performances, including those in Goyang, North America, Europe, and Tokyo, Japan, have sold out in advance, highlighting their substantial ticket sales capacity.
