Amazon MGM has procured(~을 어렵게 획득하다) exclusive creative control over the James Bond franchise, implementing(~을 실행하다) a major transformation in its management. Long-time overseers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, who have long helmed the series, have formally declared their intention to disengage from(에서 벗어나다,~을 끊다)direct operational involvement. In accordance with a newly formalized(~을 정형화하다) settlement, Amazon MGM Studios, in conjunction with Wilson and Broccoli, will jointly retain(~을 공동으로 공유할 것이다)ownership of the James Bond intellectual property; however, Amazon MGM will exercise unmitigated creative control. While the financial specifics of the transaction remain undisclosed(~을 공개하지 않다), its completion is projected within the current year. Wilson, whose nearly six-decade-long stewardship of the franchise has been integral, has opted to(~을 선택 하다) relinquish his production duties in order to redirect his focus to other professional ventures. The 2022 acquisition of MGM Studios by Amazon precipitated significant discord between the tech behemoth and the franchise's custodians regarding its future direction. This marks a formative departure from tradition, as for the first time in over fifty years, a member of the Broccoli family will forgo oversight(감독을 포기하다) of pivotal creative decisions, such as the selection of the next 007. Originating from Albert "Cubby" Broccoli's acquisition of Ian Fleming's literary rights in 1962 for film, the Bond franchise has long been a family-run enterprise. Barbara Broccoli and Wilson assumed control in 1995, with Barbara incrementally assuming the lion's share of leadership as Wilson gradually receded from the spotlight. The unresolved friction between the Broccoli-Wilson duo and Amazon MGM has led to a significant postponement of the forthcoming Bond film, an anomaly for a franchise once synonymous with punctual releases.
